    
Heat° is the result of international cooperation and knowledge in
different areas. In 1995 Electroline Ltd from Hong Kong and Oy
Hedengren Ab, one of Finland's biggest importers of electrical home
appliances, made an agreement to cooperate regarding consumer lighting. Electroline
had the knowledge about Asian quality production and Hedtec (a subsidiary
of Hedengren) had excellent sales channels on the Finnish market and knew
the retailers tough demands. The cooperation soon became a success
and the relation between the two companies grew strong. A wide range of
consumer lighting products were developed and produced and in the year
2000 Electroline registered its own consumer lighting brand Heat°. Hedtec
became exclusive distributor in Finland. Today, Heat° is already
one of the leading brands in Scandinavia and the goal is for Heat° to
become the leading brand in Europe for DIY shops and retail markets. The
